Our Vision of health data reuse
We believe in the ‘Stanford statement’ of objectives of health data reuse. Healthcare is at a nexus where the data generated during the course of clinical care can be used to advance both the science and practice of medicine. Data Reuse, or Secondary Data Analysis, is the analysis of existing data collected by other individuals or institutions for a new research purpose. It can refer to statistical, quantitative data or descriptive, qualitative data.
